Event FAQs

Our physical location is 1023 Market Street, Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, downtown Christiansted in the Times Square.

Posters are available online at www.tasteofstcroix.com as soon as they are printed. Visit our website for updates. If you are a true collector and would like to purchase posters from past Taste events, contact the Taste directly at atasteofstcroix@yahoo.com.

Even the pickiest of eaters and people with the strictest of diets can find great food at Taste.  Please make sure you inform all who are serving you of your allergies or special dietary restrictions if you fear there may be exposure.  Taste of St. Croix does not assume any responsibility or liability.

The Taste does not recommend that children under 18 attend. The event has several vendors serving spirits and an open cash bar. Additionally, the Taste is very well attended and full of happy tasters, so youth could get lost easily in a crowd.

On the day of Taste, you’ve chosen to go VIP! We recommend you arrive no later than 5 pm to take advantage of early parking and join the VIP Cocktail Party. When you arrive at Taste, go directly to the VIP Desk, give them your electronic ticket (print out or on your mobile device) and you will receive VIP wristbands that allow you access to all VIP benefits – VIP reception party and wine tasting, early admission to Taste, early admission to Taste after parties, and a Taste ’18 poster.

There are six entrances to Taste ’18 – the main entrance will be located on the boardwalk by Caravelle Hotel. The additional entrances will be located at the intersections of Strand Street/King Cross Street (after Dashi entrance), King Street/King Cross Street (after Bombay), Company Street/King Cross Street, Company Street/Queen Cross Street, and King Street/Queen Cross Street.

Guests to the Taste typically wear what we call “island elegant,” which is a mixture of elegance and comfort. Ladies should ensure that their shoes are comfortable as they’ll have to stroll to take a taste at every booth and may have to take a few steps in the sand.

The Taste is held from 6-9pm, but we recommend that guests arrive early to find parking and get in line. Taste lines move fast and there are several entrances, so get there early! If you have VIP tickets, please review this topic.

VIP tickets are sold online via www.tasteofstcroix.com and Eventbrite. Tickets are $150 and include VIP benefits . General admission tickets are $95 and go on sale Wednesday, February 27th and will be available for pick up in our offices on March 25th or later between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Physical ticket locations will be announced soon. Please visit the Taste website for current information and sign up here to receive our e-newsletters.

For guests who are traveling to St. Croix, and are not residents of the Virgin Islands, and wish to purchase tickets far in advance to lock in their travel arrangements, please contact the Taste directly at atasteofstcroix@yahoo.com for more information.
